More than a dozen Proscenics have been released to date. To keep things simple only the top THREE from the lineup will be reviewed in this guide. They’re the Proscenic M7 Pro, M6 Pro, and 850T. These three models are being featured based on their value for money, usability, and vacuuming abilities.

The following are three of the best Proscenic robot vacuums worth your money.

The first item on the list is the Proscenic M7 Pro robotic cleaner

Being a hybrid machine, the M7 Pro can sweep, mop, or sweep and mop. Pro in the name identifies it as a self-emptying model (the only one from Proscenic, plus the bin stand is sold separately).

Like most high-end models, the M7 Pro is feature-rich with a straight-line cleaning path. Add that to its ability to self-recharge/resume/evacuate, map floors, and target rooms for cleaning. Additionally, the M7 Pro offers support for remote, app, and voice controls.

Talking about cleaning performance, the M7 Pro does such a nice job removing dust, dirt, fur, allergens, crumbs, etc. on hard floors (stone, marble, laminate, linoleum, hardwood, etc.), carpets, and rugs (low and medium-pile, w/o fringes). As for carpets, the M7 Pro has a feature called Vboost where it kicks up suction on carpets to allow for deeper brush penetration and airflow while going back to normal settings to save power on hard floors.

Still, on the M7 Pro’s vacuuming ability, its soft brush roll protects floors from scratches, decreases upkeep, and helps maintain peak performance. Its utility side brushes are speed-sensitive. They extend to reach corners and wall edges while doing enough to avoid scattering debris in open areas.

On navigation and mapping, the M7 Pro doesn’t disappoint there, too. Laser-guided, the M7 Pro generates quick and accurate maps (supports up to five). Efficiency and convenience that turns out to be, since the Proscenic M7 Pro follows a systematic, zigzag path to cleaning. Consequently, it avoids getting caught on obstacles while doing enough to avoid scuffing furniture legs and baseboards. A climbing height of up to 2” provides the M7 Pro bot with smooth passage through thresholds and tall rugs. Not to mention, it’s only 3.8″ tall, translating to improved reach and coverage.

Even with a full map, this robotic cleaner may get confused if you move items. Also, while the Proscenic bot can vacuum, mop, or do both simultaneously, it can’t automatically detect carpets in mopping mode. Thankfully, the M7 Pro supports the room divider function, which allows you to assign or condone off-limits areas/rooms. Further on its settings/personalization options, it’s possible to restrict the bot’s activities, or you could select rooms or zones while scheduling whole-house or room-level mopping/vacuuming.

Other key highlights of the Proscenic M7 Pro include:

  • 2600Pa suction for better pickup performance
  • HEPA filter for improved air quality
  • A decent run time (of up to 120 minutes) and automatic recharge and resume function for prolonged cleaning

Pros

  • Relatively affordable
  • Smart & efficient
  • Quiet operation
  • Awesome design
  • Solid hardware & software
  • Organized & intensive cleaning

Cons

  • Works on 2.4Ghz WiFi frequency
  • Possible connection problems
  • Ongoing expenses on dirtbags
  • Small capacity (110ml), non-electronic water tank (water speed level CAN’T be adjusted in the App)
  • No US phone number; support only through email.

Great, but not flawless, the Proscenic M7 Pro mopping and vacuuming robot is an ideal choice if you:

  • Don’t live in a multi-level home
  • Live in a home up to 1500 sq ft
  • Have hard floors (tile, hardwood, laminate, etc.) or carpets (low- and medium-pile) with fewer obstacles
  • Have shedding pet breeds
  • Want a robot that cleans in neat rows and is less hands-on
  • Want a budget-friendly, fully automatic smart floor vacuum cleaner

Proscenic M6 Pro vacuuming and mopping robot review

Proscenic M6 Pro

ir?t=shv0fe 20&language=en US&l=li3&o=1&a=B086V42DNT Proscenic Robot Vacuum Reviews 2022Featuring #2 in this list of the best-rated Proscenic robot vacuums is the M6 Pro model which is essentially the M7 Pro (#1 on the list) w/o the standing bin and w/ reduced battery life, but a bigger water tank. Electronically controlled tank, actually, as such water flow is adjustable through the app. That, plus the Proscenic M6 Pro’s excellent mapping capability. Maps (supports five) are generated, typically within the first or second run, and updated on an ongoing basis.

Gentle, intentional movement–navigation is another strong point on the Proscenic M6 Pro: no aggressive bumping into objects or missed/skipped spots or rooms. Getting trapped is a very rare occurrence. A climbing height of up to 2” provides the M6 Pro bot with smooth passage through thresholds and tall rugs. Only 3.7″ tall as well, translating to improved reach and coverage. Also, its specially designed center brush ensures effective pick-up of debris on carpets and hard floors. Added to its strong, long arm on the sides that reaches out to claim hair and dust in corners and along wall edges.

On standard power level, the Proscenic M6 Pro can run up to 120 minutes. If or when it can’t complete the job, it’ll find its docking station (does this pretty consistently), juice up, and resume cleaning where it left off.

As for the settings/personalization options available to you, besides being able to restrict the bot’s activities, you can also select rooms or zones, or schedule whole-house and/or room-level mopping/vacuuming.

Other key highlights of the Proscenic M6 Pro include

  • 2600Pa suction for better pickup performance
  • Automatic recharge and resume
  • App control and voice command

Pros

  • Relatively affordable
  • Smart & efficient
  • Quiet operation
  • Awesome design
  • Solid hardware
  • Stable & functional software
  • Organized & intensive cleaning

Cons

  • Works on 2.4Ghz WiFi frequency
  • Possible connection issues
  • No US phone number; support only through email.

Given its potentials and limitations, the Proscenic M6 Pro vacuuming and mopping robot makes sense, if you:

  • Live in a multi-level home
  • Live in a home up to 1500 sq ft
  • Have hard floors or carpets (low- and medium-pile) with fewer obstacles
  • Have some time to spare for emptying the onboard dustbin
  • Have few pets
  • Want a robot that cleans in neat rows and is less hands-on

Proscenic 850T robotic vacuum and mop cleaner review

proscenic 850t

ir?t=shv0fe 20&language=en US&l=li3&o=1&a=B08CXB4KKJ Proscenic Robot Vacuum Reviews 2022At number #3, and to conclude this list of the best Proscenic robot vacuums is the 850T model.

So the first and second items on the list, the M7 Pro and M6 Pro have the auto-resume and mapping functions. The M7 Pro even has the bin sucking station.

Being a basic model, however, the Proscenic 850T bot doesn’t have auto-resume & evacuate, or mapping functions. And while the lack of a floor mapping function means you’d be missing out on map saving, room naming, room/area cleaning, and app-based barriers (supports boundary strips instead), the Proscenic 850T spots the auto cleaning, edge cleaning, and spot cleaning modes. It comes with remote control and you can control the robot through your phone. The App shows cleaned-up areas and even describes any problems with the robot. Run time is up to 100 minutes on standard power, with the ability to automatically recharge, a task it does pretty consistently. Further on its features/operation, cleaning is fairly quiet. The Proscenic 850T just like others featured in the list paths logically. Ok but not perfect, it goes from the hardwood to the rugs to the entryway mats with fewer issues. Bumping into furniture is a rarity. Not repeatedly getting confused, trapped, or stuck is another area where the Proscenic 850T shines.

Talking of its cleaning ability, the Proscenic 850T robot can sweep, mop, or sweep and mop. In sweeping mode–and with 3000Pa suction, its utility center and side brushes, and 2.7″ height–the 850T removes dust and particles in open and hard-to-reach areas. Not only that, it can detect when it’s on hardwood/tile versus carpet and will adjust accordingly. Similarly, in wet mode, the 850T machine doesn’t slip or leave streaks, while mopping the floor without leaving too much water on the ground. Its water tank at 180ml ensures prolonged cleaning in ample spaces. Also, it’s electronically controlled, allowing for water adjustments through the App.

While doing well with fur and hair situations, hair wrapping around its rollers isn’t uncommon. It’s however quick and easy to clean the brush, filter, and dust can. It also comes with a spare filter, a cleaning tool, and replacement front brushes. The Proscenic 850T model uses boundary strips for marking zones. What’s more, be prepared to split your 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz signals as the phone capabilities only work on 2.4Ghz.

Powerful but not very smart, the Proscenic 850T vacmop cleaner proves enough for daily cleaning in simpler spaces. Compared to other vacuums, too, it’s cheaper.

Pros

  • Low noise
  • Lightweight
  • Intuitive App
  • Responsive & easy-to-use remote control
  • Reasonably priced
  • Quick set up
  • Thorough documentation
  • Strong suction (3000Pa)
  • Lower price (typically selling under $200)
  • Good enough battery life (up to 100 minutes of run time)
  • Vacuums and mops
  • Simple, straightforward operations
  • Automatic recharge
  • App and voice control support

Cons

  • Basic/limited functionalities
  • Works on 2.4Ghz WiFi frequency
  • No US phone number. Support only through email.

A good entry-level machine, the Proscenic 850T vacuuming and mopping robot makes sense if you:

  • Don’t live in a multi-level home
  • Live in an apartment/have ~1200 sq ft home
  • Have hardwood, tile, vinyl, and/or carpets (low-pile) with fewer obstacles
  • Have pets with short hair
  • Want app or voice functionalities
  • Want an affordable, practical, and effective robot vacuum

Conclusion

Proscenic M7 Pro, M6 Pro, and 850T were the three items featured in the list of the best Proscenic robotic vacuum cleaners.

While all three models are ideal for general cleaning, the Proscenic M7 Pro is a better choice for smaller homes with not many obstacles, but lots of cats and dogs. Consider the M6 Pro or 850T if you don’t have pets, want to stay within $300, or have quite some ground to cover with liquids.

With price being one of the strong points of the Proscenic brand–take, for instance, their flagship M7 Pro, which is about half the price of the Roomba i7 Plus–customer support is one area that needs to be improved because as of the time of this writing, there’s no US phone number to call, only email. Another thing I’ve noticed is that being a relatively unknown brand, parts like dirtbags aren’t readily available.

If any of those issues bother you, there’s the more established iRobot (the face behind the Roomba line of products) with a US presence. And, Roomba, being a popular item, its parts are affordable and readily available.
